Account

When you create an account, Sobdo Ai stores your name, email address, and a hash of your password. The password itself is not stored. A sign-in cookie keeps the browser logged in until you log out or the browser session ends.

Setup also stores the learning profile you choose: goals, occupation, native language, daily time, correction style, difficulty, and time zone. Failed sign-in attempts store the IP address and email for a short time so repeated guessing can be slowed down.

Practice

A session stores the topic, the transcript of what you and the coach said, the time you spent, and the report written afterwards. That report can include a summary, corrected sentences, phrases, and patterns to practise next.

Useful corrections can be saved as learning notes. Later sessions use those notes so the coach can return to the same pattern. You can dismiss or delete a note in Settings. Role-play numbers are estimates about that conversation. They are not a certificate and they do not score your accent.

Google sign-in

If you continue with Google, Google confirms your name, your email address, and that Google has already verified that email. Sobdo Ai does not receive your Google password, and it does not keep Google’s access token after sign-in finishes.

If that email already belongs to an account here, Google sign-in opens that same account, including its plan and practice history. Logging out ends the Sobdo Ai session. It does not sign you out of Google.

Voice

Typing works for every feature. Voice is optional.

• Live conversation audio is streamed to the configured speech service for that session. This installation does not keep a library of those recordings.
• If you use a speaker button, that sentence is sent to the speech service and the resulting audio may be cached on this server so the same sentence can play again.
• Keeping recordings for longer requires an administrator setting and your consent in Settings. That consent does nothing until an administrator turns retention on.

AI provider

When an AI provider is configured, the text of the conversation, your goals, recent corrections, and a short learning summary are sent to that provider so it can reply, build a plan, or write a report. The provider is the one selected in this installation’s configuration. If no provider is configured, the coach is a clearly labeled simulation and that text is not sent out.

Do not put passwords, government identity numbers, payment card numbers, or someone else’s private information into a practice session.

Payments

The free plan does not ask for a card. If paid checkout is configured, the payment provider processes the card. Sobdo Ai stores the plan, the amount, an order reference, and whether the payment succeeded. A message in the browser is not treated as payment until the provider confirms it.

Reminders and this device

If you turn reminders on, Sobdo Ai stores the time, the days, and whether you asked for email, a browser notice, or both. A browser notice appears only while a Sobdo Ai tab is open, and this browser remembers that today’s notice was already shown. Email reminders are sent only when mail is configured and the scheduled task runs. There is no background push service.

Separate from that choice, the account can receive a welcome message, plan notices when a trial or a paid month is ending, one note if the first conversation has not started, and a Monday summary when you finished at least one conversation that week. Those messages describe what is saved on the account. They are not a score or a certificate.

The app can cache its own pages and icons on your device so the shell opens faster. Practice transcripts stay on the server, not in that cache. Authenticated pages ask search engines not to index them.

Who can see it

You can see your own sessions, notes, and plan. An administrator of this installation can open account and billing records in the admin area. The configured AI provider receives the practice text described above, and the payment provider receives checkout details when you pay.

Sobdo Ai does not sell your account or your transcripts.

Your choices

• Delete one session from its report. That removes the transcript and the report for that session.
• Dismiss or delete a learning note in Settings.
• Turn reminders off in Settings.
• Delete the whole account from Settings if you know its password. That removes the profile, sessions, transcripts, plan, notes, and subscription rows. Administrator accounts are not removed from that form.
• If you signed in only with Google and never chose a password, the delete form cannot check a password you do not have. Use the contact form and ask for that account to be deleted.
